i was playing a fps the other day. the game itself was free, BUT they want you to pay for different outfits.this isn't even the part that pissed me off. some items are "for rent". so they want you to spend REAL MONEY on a VIRTUAL OUTFIT that is TEMPORARY!!!!!!! that is just stupid. people need to stop charging for stuff on the internet.

i understand that mmo games need funding for servers and such. charging for that is fine with me, as long as you tell me in the first place. i hate it when a site says "play for free", and it turns out its only a 3-day trial. i once saw an ad for a "free" game, that wasn't free at all! not even a trial.there should be some sort of law against this.

if you want to make money off of an internet game, i would suggest you let people donate. so if your game is awesome, people will donate. or get advertisers.
